CHALCEDONY is known as the Speaker's Stone, the stone of one who must measure his words. It encourages reflection and meditation, its gentle radiance preparing us for action but helping to hold back words we might regret. Chalcedony absorbs negative energy and dissipates it before it can be passed on. It promotes brotherhood and good will, opening the mind to new ideas, instilling feelings of benevolence and generosity
ABOUT 14k GOLD FILLED:
*Gold filled is the next level and is an amazing, quality alternative to solid gold
*Gold plating is the lower level and these items tend to tarnish and can often times turn the skin green. Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal.
*If you can wear gold jewelry without skin sensitivity, you can most likely wear gold filled!
*Many owners find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. If it's necessary, clean gold-filled using mild soap and water. Hot weather and water will not damage the material
*During the mid to late Victorian period, gold filled jewelry was very common and was manufactured in large numbers.
